Conference on Aging

Review what worked, and what needs to be tweaked, for the Third Annual WTIU Conference on Aging.

Add to list of topics/ideas.  E-steering surveys to identify the 2020 session topics should go out within a month.

Pamela Davidson emphasized the importance of marketing the conference as being “for all ages” or “sandwich generation”.  Tim Decker suggested multiple promotional spots that center around specific issues/topics the conference helps families to address

Martha Nice suggested adding an emotional support position/space in case any topics addressed at the conference trigger emotional reactions from attendees and they need someone to talk to about it.

Various members suggested trying to emphasize sessions targeted towards caregivers needs (younger track).
